Bella Gerard is a NYC-based fashion editor, style writer, and content creator.

 

She is a contributing fashion editor at Marie Claire, and has written for digital publications in the fashion and beauty space since 2017. Bylines include InStyle, Refinery29, Bustle, Byrdie, Fashionista, PopSugar, Who What Wear, and more. Additionally, she has been quoted as a fashion and shopping expert for sites like WWD, Business of Fashion, USA Today, and People. She currently authors the popular fashion Substack, B List.

 

Hannah Montana-style, Bella is an industry hybrid. Editor by day, creator by night, she made the shift to freelance life after serving as StyleCaster's Fashion & Lifestyle Editor for two years following roles at Elite Daily and Health.com. She also previously served as Rakuten's Shopping and Trend Advisor.

 

Bella has worked with a myriad of impressive beauty, fashion and lifestyle partners on TikTok and Instagram. Notable partnerships include Nordstrom, Macy's Ulta Beauty, Bloomingdale's, NYFW: The Shows and others. She is one of few tastemakers who can offer a true editor’s stamp of approval within her content. 

 

Prior to her time in the industry, Bella was a graduate of Georgetown

University, where she earned her BA in English with a minor in

Photography, and received honors for her senior thesis.
